Job summary

Harvest Hill Beverage Company is seeking a Filler Operator in Verona, PA. You will ensure finished shipments are properly packaged and secured before leaving the factory, while following safety, GMP, and food safety rules.

You will operate lines and equipment, maintain cleanliness, and keep documentation accurate using Redzone. Strong reading of SOPs and math skills are required; HS diploma or equivalent is a minimum. Shift coverage includes night hours.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications.
• Able to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers; ability to calculate figures; data entry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP rules and regulations.
• Oversee and maintain food safety and quality of the process and finished product.
• Keep work area clean and organized through good housekeeping.
• Operate unscramblers, fillers, cappers/heat sealers and bottle coders.
• Maintain filler efficiencies on lines.
• Relieve other positions during break times.
• Maintain raw material levels for all line equipment.
• Set up and verify line coding systems; date codes must be accurate and legible.
• Verify packaging materials are correct and pallet patterns are followed.
• Complete line documentation using Redzone and/or paperwork.
• Meet and maintain line efficiency and production standards.
• Identify issues and escalate to Production Supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
