Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Feed Mill Operator to learn and manage the feed mill manufacturing process, from receiving through loadout. You will cross-train across production and maintenance and be proficient in plant automation while planning production needs for each operation area.

Maintain cleanliness of all areas and grounds, and follow cGMP/FSMA protocols. You will also process paperwork and learn to track items using computer systems and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1+ year related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write reports and communicate with managers, employees, and visitors.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write reports and business correspondence, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and visitors.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to make decisions on routine matters utilizing company policies, procedures and directions from upper management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
