Job summary

Farmers Cooperative Society in Boyden, IA is seeking a Feed Operations Tech for the night shift. The role supports the feed department to manufacture quality livestock feeds and meet customer demands, with responsibilities across ingredient verification, batching, loading, and equipment operation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and preferred manufacturing or mixing experience. PPE is provided, and hours may be long or irregular with weekends during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education.
• Prefer previous manufacturing or mixing experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify quality of ingredients.
• Weigh out drugs and by-hand additions.
• Batch feed in feed mill manager.
• Help load complete feed on trucks.
• Operate pellet mills where applicable and necessary.
• Operate roller mills where applicable and necessary.
• Bag feed where applicable and necessary.
• Document details of processes.
• Assist with maintenance of feed mill equipment.
• Assist with housekeeping in feed mill.
• Other duties as assigned.
