Farmers Cooperative Society in Sioux Center, IA seeks a hands-on Feed Operations Technician to oversee grinding, mixing, and pelleting. This full-time role demands precision, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with feed-mill software and equipment.

You will verify ingredients, load trucks, operate pellet and roller mills, document processes, and help maintain a clean, safe production area. Weekend/holiday shifts may occur during peak season.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prefer previous manufacturing or mixing experience.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify quality of ingredients.
• Weigh out drugs and by-hand additions.
• Batch feed with company feed mill computer software.
• Help load complete feed on trucks.
• Operate pellet mills where applicable and necessary.
• Operate roller mills where applicable and necessary.
• Bag feed where applicable and necessary.
• Document details of processes.
• Assist with maintenance of feed mill equipment.
• Assist with housekeeping in feed mill.
• Other duties as assigned.
