Job summary

Turner Industries is hiring a Janitor / Facility Worker for a job site near Ville Platte, LA. Janitors are expected to maintain the premise and occasionally assist skilled workers in performing their assigned duties. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Schedule: Night Shift. Final compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience, with benefits as described.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of cleaning.
• Must pass site course/exam.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and acceptance of policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintains premises; cleans offices, industrial buildings and grounds.
• Performs dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing and buffing.
• Assist skilled workers as needed; follow supervisor directions.
