The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and prior cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and the ability to work independently or with a team while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a Cleaner or Janitor preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized, and sanitary restrooms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow routines, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash and recycling bins, replace liners as needed, and ensure receptacles are clean.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, work areas, and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors following the assigned cleaning route.
• Inspect areas for items of value and place anything found on the nearest table or desk.
• Report any mechanical or electrical issues to the supervisor.
• Move cleaning carts and equipment safely between areas and follow cleaning sequence.
• Vacuum and mop elevator lobbies, hallways, and other common areas as assigned.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Follow all safety and company procedures.
