Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; GED considered.
• Experience as a Cleaner or Janitor preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners and ensure receptacles are clean.
• Disinfect restrooms, work areas and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors along assigned routes.
• Inspect areas; report items of value and place found items on nearest table or desk.
• Report mechanical or electrical issues to supervisor.
• Report damaged items before or during shift.
• Move carts and equipment safely; follow cleaning sequence.
• Vacuum and mop elevator lobbies, hallways and common areas.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Follow all safety and company procedures.
