Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) in Illinois. You will operate and maintain building systems and equipment supporting manufacturing areas, ensuring reliable utilities and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with CMMS (Maximo) and electrical systems up to 480V. Join a team focused on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certs a plus.
• 3+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Respond to alarms and address conditions to protect plant operations.
• Keep accurate records per GDP and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment like boilers, air systems, motors, drives.
• Support continuous improvement projects and safety requirements.
• Work with supervision and maintain clean, compliant work areas.
