Job summary

JLL is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to help maintain the appearance, functionality, and overall condition of client facilities in Mattawan, MI. This hands-on role requires basic maintenance experience and the ability to perform a wide range of tasks with safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities include painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing, carpentry, grounds upkeep, door hardware repairs, and maintaining CMMS records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of general maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of drywall repair, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.
• Ability to safely operate common hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repair activities throughout the facility.
• Complete painting, patching, and finishing work on walls, ceilings, doors, and other building surfaces.
• Perform basic drywall repairs, including patching holes, replacing damaged sections, and preparing surfaces for painting.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs such as replacing faucets, repairing fixtures, clearing drains, and addressing minor leaks.
• Perform minor carpentry work, including repairs to doors, cabinets, furniture, hardware, and building fixtures.
