Job summary

Northwest Facilities & Equipment Maintenance (NWFEM) in Portland, OR is seeking a Lead Night Shift Technician to oversee our handyman/construction team during night hours. You will coordinate routes, train technicians, assess and quote jobs, ensure safety, and uphold our service standards.

You will bridge night and day teams, model our culture, and drive weekly SLA goals while maintaining high quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the trades across drywall, mudding, painting, carpentry, flooring, tile, and light electric/plumbing.
• Able to assess facilities work orders and train employees on completing the work.
• Highly organized with strong leadership and safety focus.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be able and willing to complete work tasks yourself.
• Train new employees and review routes for issues.
• Procure materials using the company card and stage them for the team.
• Serve as the main night-shift contact and handle situations as they arise.
• Review completed service requests for QC and ensure high standards.
