Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Facilities Suite & Elastomer Maintenance Mechanic, Level II for the night shift in Portsmouth, NH. The role runs 6pm–6am on Wed, Thu, Fri and alternating Saturdays, with overtime and a night differential. You will inspect, repair, and document maintenance of manufacturing equipment under GMP and SOP guidance.

The position emphasizes safety, collaboration with Reliability & Engineering, and continuous training to stay audit-ready and proficient with CMMS-based logging.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and read complex drawings.
• Willingness to learn CMMS documentation and GMP SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
• Maintain maintenance areas for audit readiness.
• Keep training status current for job requirements.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and paper records.
