Job summary

Henderson Products Inc in Manchester, IA is seeking a Fabricator to set up and operate fabrication machines (Brake Press, Lasers, Drills, Saws) per SOP, with night shift hours 3:30pm–1:30am and a 20 minute lunch, flexible start times.

You will read blueprints, calculate tonnage for punching and shearing, identify steel types, operate overhead hoist, and fabricate parts to blueprint specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and 5S standards as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math, ability to read a tape measure and use a protractor.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Calculate tonnage for punching and shearing.
• Identify different steel types and gauges.
• Operate overhead hoist.
• Preferred 1000 hours of trade school; fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication machines (Brake Press, Lasers, Drills, Saws) per SOP.
• Read blueprints and fabricate parts to specifications.
• Maintain quality and perform daily 5S activities.
• Work as a team and follow safety standards.
