Job summary

Mermet USA is seeking a fabric inspector to join the night shift. You will inspect fabric and components for defects, document readings, and ensure labeling accuracy. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs, with a 12-hour shift from 8pm to 8am.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a similar role, strong communication, and time management skills. 401(k) with employer matching and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years experience in a similar fabric inspection role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage time.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabric and components for defects according to production orders and procedures.
• Identify deviations, flaws, holes, or shade differences and classify by quality.
• Load fabric onto inspection frame and document readings accurately.
• Label pieces correctly and enter information into the database.
