Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Production QA/Inspector at our Gratz Manufacturing Plant. The role focuses on thorough testing, measuring, and inspection to minimize variation and build quality into the product. You will conduct daily inspections, read tapes, use calipers, and participate in continuous improvements.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years in a warehouse. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a 9pm-5:30am shift and a $21.00 + $1.50 shift diff hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years in a warehouse or related role.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a caliper with accuracy.
• Detail-oriented and capable of precise data recording.
• Able to maintain a fast pace while ensuring accuracy.
• Strong teamwork and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct random daily work in progress inspections of units.
• Perform daily AAMA inspections on finished products and record results.
• Read a tape measure and use a caliper to check tolerances.
• Work well in group environments and follow policies.
• Record results on tablet and participate in process improvements.
• Complete weld break, argon fill, and sill leak tests daily.
