Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics industry.
• 2-3 years of film / sheet or other melt extrusion experience.
• Web handling experience, such as slitting, winding, or adhesive coating.

Responsibilities

• Completes extrusion equipment set-ups, start-ups, change-overs and shut-downs.
• Performs process adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Conducts on-line product quality inspections and troubleshoots extrusion process.

Knowledge of gauging and calibrating process equipment

High school diploma or GED equivalent
