Job summary

TekniPlex is hiring an Extrusion Operator for our Manchester, NH facility. Responsible for the setup, operation, or tend to machines to extrude thermoplastic in tubes, solids, shapes or coated products.

You will work as part of a global team to ensure products meet specifications, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and work orders, in a manufacturing environment in Manchester, NH.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with 18 months related experience.
• 2 years in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools and their maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lines setup according to run sheet and adjust equipment to meet product specifications.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specification using measuring methods incl. laser micrometers, calipers, tape measures.
• Identify and pull materials using production paperwork and load machinery.
• Adjust equipment to ensure product count meets customer specification.
• Assist in line safety inspections to ensure equipment is running properly.
• Read, retain, and decipher information from work orders and customer prints to produce parts.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs or management.
