Job summary

Cooley Group is seeking a Machine Operator for the night shift in Lancaster, SC. You will operate extrusion equipment, load and unload raw materials, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include recording data in the manufacturing systems, inspecting products with QA, maintaining housekeeping, and assisting other operators as needed, while adhering to ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Must have good communications and collaborative skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to use standard ruler.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the machine with raw materials/fabrics.
• Inspect product and record quality defects with QA to ensure standards are met.
• Record production data in the Manufacturing Operating Systems and related logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 procedures.
• Assist other line operators and operate extruder functions in absence of the Extruder Team Leader.
