Job summary

Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division in Williamsport, MD is seeking a Machine Operator – 3rd Shift. The role offers an hourly rate of $19.00 with a $0.50 shift differential, and 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Friday.

You will operate extrusion equipment, start up jobs, and ensure quality parts while preparing equipment for the next run. Applicants should have at least one year of machine operation experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in machine operation
• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc. allowed
• No relocation benefit; Williamsport, MD area (50 miles) only

Responsibilities

• Produce quality parts efficiently
• Start up and operate extrusion equipment safely
• Produce quality parts consistently and efficiently
• Set up jobs with dies, adapters, breaker plates and screen packs
• Leave extruder and downstream equipment ready for next job
• Clean screw installation
• Comply with EHS standards and site instructions
• Identify improvement opportunities
• Use PPE and report near misses or injuries
