Job summary

Uponor (GF Building Flow Solutions) in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an extrusion operator to run specialized extrusion equipment, perform die changes up to 10 per day, and maintain production reports. You will support quality checks for UL, NSF specs prior to shipping and assist in maintenance checks.

This is a full-time, in-person role with a 12-hour night shift. Shifts run 6pm–6am on a 4x4 schedule; base pay ranges from $20.50 to $27.22 per hour, plus $2 night differential and $1 PEX premium.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Good math skills, familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills are required.
• Must be able to problem solve, multitask and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate computer-controlled extrusion equipment and perform die changes.
• Changeovers, in-process checks and adjustments per procedures.
• Record production data legibly on reports and maintain workspace 6S standards.
• Collect and submit quality samples; participate in lean initiatives.
