Job summary

Common Citizen, a Michigan-based cannabis company, is seeking an Extraction Technician to join the Extraction department. The role reports to the Senior Post Harvest Lead and works the 3rd shift (10PM–6:30AM, Sun–Thu).

Candidates will engage in high-quality extract production from seed to sale, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role requires problem-solving skills, a mechanically oriented mindset, data entry for production logs, and familiarity with MS Office and METRC

Qualifications

• Problem solving skills.
• Mechanically oriented mindset.
• Team environment with fast pace.
• Knowledge of MS Office and METRC. LeafLogix is a plus.
• Efficient cultivation/production work ethic with Lean tools.
• Knowledge in cannabis finished goods product manufacturing and extraction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability for standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple pieces of equipment for extraction processes.
• Inputs data for production logs and batch records.
• Maintains 5S and Standard Work.
• Maintains lab equipment and extraction machinery.
• Monitors equipment during extraction and troubleshoots issues.
• Relocates materials and biomass as needed for extraction.
• Keeps workspace organized and safe for tool use.
