Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain cleanliness and infection control across the hospital and related facilities. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and ensuring sanitary, orderly spaces, with occasional travel between sites and after-hours coverage.

Strong safety awareness, the ability to work independently, and commitment to patient safety are valued. Education is flexible (HS diploma preferred); no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains environmental and infection control standards.

• Responds to communications by phone, radios, pagers, etc.
