Responsibilities

• Education: participate in identifying learning needs, attend programs, educate patient/family/caregivers as appropriate.
• Evaluation of Care: identify expected patient outcomes and revise plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation: provide care for patients with complex problems, perform bedside point-of-care testing as required, follow policies and procedures.
• Leadership: develop goals with supervision, promote collaboration, contribute to unit goals and performance improvement.
• Patient Assessment & Planning: assess needs, plan care with multidisciplinary resources and consider cultural/ethnic factors.
• Research: engage with journals and share applicable ideas with the team.
