Job summary

UNC Health's Rex Holly Springs Hospital Emergency Department seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse to deliver high-quality emergency care. The role reports to the Nurse Manager/Director, coordinates patient care, and participates in continuous improvement activities.

Shift: 11:00a - 11:00p with rotating weekends and holidays. Offers full-time onsite employment, competitive hourly pay, and relocation incentives where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• RN licensure in North Carolina required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and document care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve unit goals and quality outcomes.
• Prioritize care and ensure safety, pain management, and discharge planning.
