Job summary

Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio is seeking a Part Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced ED team. The role includes triage, patient assessment, and delivering care for all ages during the 3rd shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with rotation every 3rd weekend and holiday.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff, develop individualized care plans, educate families, and uphold safe, compassionate, evidence-based practice while supporting efficient ED operations.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (ADN/BSN) required.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS and ACLS within 1 year; PALS and TNCC within 2 years.
• Strong assessment, triage, and patient care across ages.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Initiate triage and ongoing assessment of patients’ needs.
• Register patients and collect demographics quickly.
• Formulate and implement nursing care plans for ED patients.
• Provide education to patients and families on illness & prevention.
• Maintain open communication with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Guide licensed practical nurses and support staff as needed.
• Perform additional duties within scope of responsibility.
