Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks experienced Registered Nurses for its Emergency Department, a Level III trauma center in Delaware. The unit serves geriatric patients in a 27-bed facility.

This full-time night shift (12-hour, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) requires acute care expertise, strong assessment and documentation skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Delaware.
• ER/acute care experience required; BLS and ACLS certification required; must obtain PALS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards and conducts assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assists the emergent patient and documents accordingly on the ER nursing tool.
• Identifies patient needs based on data and follows through with documentation.
• Implements nursing actions for identified patient needs and uses sound judgment.
• Discusses care plans with patient/family and documents decisions; collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
