Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston Emergency Department in Brighton, MI is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support its 38-bed Level 4 Trauma ED, treating over 100 patients daily. The role offers a 12-hour night shift (6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.) with a 24-hour per week schedule and a weekend alternative of 0.6 FTE paid as 0.7 FTE.

The RN will work within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Nurses who do not currently hold a BSN will be supported in obtaining their degree and must commit in writing to completing a BSN within five (5) years of their hire date.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, the RN assesses patients, develops, evaluates, and modifies the care plan.
• RNs are part of the Care Team and Support Team and work to achieve patient outcomes.
• The RN is a professional caregiver with responsibility and accountability for care given to a group of patients.
• The RN provides care using the nursing process, environment/technology and collaboration with the health care team.
• Patients served include all ages (Infant to Older Adult) as identified in standards.
