Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston ED in Brighton, MI is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the emergency department in a fast-paced Level 4 trauma center, caring for patients of all ages.

The full-time, 36-hour weekly night shift (12 hours) runs 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with every third weekend and holiday rotation; new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive structured support to transition into emergency care.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Nurses who do not currently hold a BSN will be supported in obtaining their degree and must commit in writing to completing a BSN within five (5) years of their hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to work as a team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care to patients via nursing process, environment/technology, and collaboration with health care team.
• Care for patients across all ages (Infant to Older Adults) as defined by standards.
