Job summary

AbbVie in Waco, TX is seeking an on-site Maintenance Mechanic for night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and alternating Saturdays. You will diagnose and repair production and packaging equipment, perform PMs, and ensure safety and quality compliance, supporting on-time delivery with minimal downtime.

Requires 2–3 years in industrial maintenance or an associate degree in a related field, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after each shift.
• Perform maintenance and repairs of production/packaging equipment to support on-time delivery.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Assist with setup and changeovers of production/packaging equipment.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced mechanics in PMs and changeovers.
