Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Sandy, Utah for the B Shift. The role operates a 12-hour rotating shift (5:45 PM - 5:50 AM) with a 7-in-14 schedule, in a temperature-controlled cleanroom environment.

You will control equipment, monitor quality, troubleshoot, and document processes while collaborating with mechanics and QA. BD offers shift differentials, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must read & write English and communicate clearly.
• Able to work in a team and follow procedures.
• Semi-routine assignments with deviation recognition.
• Operate independently within documented processes.
• Analyze charts, follow diagrams, perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Control, monitor and adjust machine settings for quality.
• Inspect in-process parts to meet standards.
• Identify and remove defective products from production.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
• Follow SOPs, SWIs and safety requirements.
• Document production and quality data accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
