Job summary

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our Tampa, Florida team. You will prepare and operate press equipment in accordance with job specs and quality standards, and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimum output.

The role requires attention to tolerances, strong math skills, mechanical ability, and clear communication with the production team. Shift: 3rd shift, 11pm–7am, Monday–Friday. High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate press equipment in compliance with job specifications and quality standards.
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
