Job summary

Grifols, S.A is seeking a laboratory assistant to support environmental monitoring in classified areas and utility systems at our Clayton, NC site. The role requires handling environmental, utility, raw material, or validation samples and adhering to GMP/GLP standards.

The ideal candidate will have an AA or BS in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or biology/chemistry, with 6–12 months of lab experience; a GLP/GMP background is preferred.

Qualifications

• AA or BS in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, or BS in biology/chemistry or related field, plus 6–12 months of applicable laboratory experience.
• Associate level requires AA or BS in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, or BS in biology, chemistry or related field, plus 2 years of applicable laboratory experience.
• Background in medical technology/clinical laboratory science is preferred, as is experience in a GLP/GMP laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring on classified areas and utility systems.
• Collect and/or test environmental, utility, raw material, or validation samples using test methods specific to the assigned laboratory.
• Follow GMP and GLP requirements and complete work in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Participate in projects such as standard and control preparations, method validations, and comparison studies.
