Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA in Melrose Park, IL is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Technician to collect and test routine samples within aseptic processing lines (Building A) and clean rooms in Building B. You will monitor environmental conditions, document results in the LIMS, and ensure adherence to cGMP/GLP standards.

You will support scientists and supervisors, prepare media and reagents, and participate in investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level science degree required or equivalent experience.
• Associates degree plus 1–3 years of lab experience, or 5+ years in a pharma lab.
• Some college with 5+ years in a relevant lab setting acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring in aseptic areas and clean rooms.
• Maintain gowning certification and maintain aseptic technique.
• Prepare and test samples (WFI, clean steam, gases) per SOPs.
• Input results into LIMS and document deviations per cGMP/GLP.
