Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital is seeking an EMT-Paramedic to perform assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and/or physician. You will assist with patient care under the ER RN supervision and contribute to the safety and well-being of our patients during nights on a full-time schedule.

The role requires active EMT-P registration and current certifications (BCLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS) with ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic EMT-P Registry required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.
• ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under supervision.
• Assist with patient care based on individual needs within scope of practice under ER RN supervision.
