Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for an overnight 13-hour shift (6pm–7am) on Mondays. Pay ranges from $20.30 to $25.00 per hour, with differential pay for eligible night/weekend hours.

Qualifikationen

• Report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds.
• Understand medications, side effects and monitor response.
• Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.
• Perform phlebotomy.
• Conduct physical exams with vital signs assessment.
• Know anesthesia/monitoring equipment and assist ASA I/II patients.
• Stay current on CPR guidelines (RECOVER) and duties assigned.

Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

**This role is one overnight shift, consisting of 13 hours, from 6pm to 7am on Monday evenings. **

Pay: $20.30 - $25.00 / hour

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00/hr. Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00/hr. Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50/hr. Shift Differential

Founded by Drs. Peter and Faith Lotsikas, Skylos Sports Medicine, is an orthopedic and rehabilitation specialty practice that provides a unique concierge level of care for patients and their guardians in Ellicott City and Frederick, Maryland.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will:
