PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian for Taylor Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Turlock, CA. The role requires passion for high-quality care and strong client communication within a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.

You will work with a 24-hour team, state-of-the-art equipment, and a culture focused on collaboration, education, and compassionate service for pets and their people.

Qualifications

• Veterinarian degree from an accredited college
• Current State Veterinary License
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
• 1+ years of experience in emergency practice
• Excellent diagnostic, surgical and dental skills
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Client communication and education
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Pharmacy duties and adherence to controlled substances protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
• Attend daily rounds when possible
• Participate in practice management updates and training
