Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a veterinary environment performing all duties.
• Experience with surgical monitoring, radiology, urgent care and triage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, weigh and record vital signs on arrival.
• Triage patients, assist with physical exams, treatments and medications as directed by LVTs.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints.
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs.
• Operate and maintain hospital equipment (EKG, pumps, scales, monitors).
• Document medications, controlled substances and patient records accurately.
• Educate clients about insurance, wellness plans and follow-up care.
