Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with state credentials.
• Experience in emergency/specialty care preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stable patients overnight and track vital signs.
• Assess behavioral changes and pain scores.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Calculate medical dosages and administer meds.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Mentor and train coworkers.
• Address client concerns with empathy.
