Job summary

Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an ED Technician for part-time night shifts. Under RN supervision, you assist physicians and nurses with patient care, performing EKGs, IVs, and phlebotomy to support timely ED throughput.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, EMT/paramedic training, and CPR/BLS; ACLS and PALS are required within 180 days. Pay range is $18.90–$24.60 hourly with eligible medical insurance and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• EMT, paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician training is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required to start; ACLS and PALS within 180 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RN in patient care in the ED, including invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, IVs, and monitor patients as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per RHS standards and ensure patient safety and throughput.
