Job summary

UCHealth (Colorado) in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ED. This onsite role requires night shifts and provides a night shift incentive program. The ER team delivers care across trauma and non-trauma patients with a focus on safety and quality.

Care will be delivered at PVH ER with opportunities for professional growth and a strong multidisciplinary collaboration. Licensure, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and TNCC/ENPC within 1 year are required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program and licensed in Colorado.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC/ATCN and ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required by start date; additional trauma/peds certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED across trauma and non-trauma cases.
• Work night shifts in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Adhere to UCHealth standards and evidence-based practice.

Education

Registered Nurse license (RN) in Colorado

6 months RN experience

Advanced life support certifications (ACLS, PALS) within 6 months

TNCC/ATCN and ENPC within 1 year

Trauma and pediatric emergency certifications (TNC, TPAC)

BLS through AHA/Red Cross
