Job summary

Northwest Acute Care Specialists, P.C. (NACS) is contracted with Legacy Health to provide emergency medicine and urgent care services at Legacy Silverton Medical Center in Oregon.

The Emergency Physician will be part of Legacy Health Medical Staff, delivering patient care, consultation, teaching and administrative duties within Emergency Services. Required are a bachelor's degree, medical degree, board eligibility/certification in Emergency Medicine, and an Oregon MD license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Graduate medical training completed for emergency medicine.
• Licensure and board eligibility/certification in emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Examines, diagnoses and treats patients in the emergency department.
• Provides resuscitation and acute care for life-threatening conditions.
• Maintains documentation and coordinates care with the medical team.
• Participates in administrative and committee activities as requested.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College

Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent

Board eligible/certified in Emergency Medicine

Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state

Current Oregon MD license prior to start date

Registered with Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and authorized to prescribe medications
