Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician for a night shift in a Level III Trauma Center. The site features a 24/7 hospitalist program, extensive imaging, and a multidisciplinary team to manage trauma, surgery, cardiology, neurology, and critical care in-house.

The position offers hospital-employed benefits, competitive hourly pay, CME allowance of $6,000, and opportunities to teach residents and medical students at a single-site

Qualifications

Board certification must be current or within 3 years of eligibility.
Must complete an ER Residency Program or ER Fellowship.
H1B candidates encouraged to apply.
Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school.
Licensed or eligible for Iowa physician license; Iowa CDS and Federal DEA certificate.
All offers contingent upon references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Practice at one site in MercyOne North Iowa- Emergency Medicine.
Teach residents, medical students, PA/ARNP students.
Work within a Level III trauma center with 24/7 hospitalist support.
