Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury CT, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a full-time EMT to join our EMS team. You will assess injuries or illness at the scene and establish treatment in line with state licensure and protocols, communicating essential information to the medical team involved in the patient’s care.

EMTs transport patients between facilities or residences, respond promptly to service requests, and may float to other EMS coverage areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma and completion of an accredited EMT program.
• Certification/Licensure: Current EMT CT license, AHA CPR, valid driver's license, all in good standing.

Responsabilités

• You would assess a patient's injuries or illness at scene and establish treatment per state licensure and protocols.
• EMTs transport sick and/or injured patients to or between facilities or residences.
• EMT will respond to all requests for service promptly and prioritize per dispatcher direction.
• Float to other EMS coverage areas based on need.
