Job summary

Saint Mary\'s Hospital EMS Waterbury CT offers a full-time, 12-hour night shift position. You will assess patients at the scene, communicate findings to care teams, and transport patients to facilities as needed.

This role requires an EMT license in Connecticut, completion of an EMT program, AHA CPR, and a valid driver\'s license. Rotating weeks include nights and holidays with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma and completion of an accredited EMT program.
• Certification/Licensure: Current EMT CT license, AHA CPR, valid driver’s license, all in good standing.

Responsibilities

• EMTs transport sick and/or injured patients to or between appropriate medical facilities and/or residence.
• EMT will respond to all requests for service in an optimal manner and the priority of response when directed by the dispatcher.
• Float to other EMS coverage areas based on need.
