Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required; EMT-B or higher with state licensure or CNA in state of practice.
• Basic computer skills and good communication are essential.
• Follows supervision to provide patient care within scope of training.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and nurses with patient care, vitals, IV starts, and blood draws.
• Prepare patients for exams and minor procedures, and document care in patient records.
• Monitor and stock supplies, coordinate with departments to maintain a safe environment.
• Support ED team and participate in training and orientation of new technicians.
