Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Night position. The salary range is $23.33 – $35.02 per hour, with the rate dependent on education, training and experience.

The role performs direct patient care under RN/Physician supervision in the Emergency Department, including patient reception, vital signs, and procedure support. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program Required: Medical Assistant
• Accredited Program Required: Emergency Medical Technician
• Minimum 1 year experience as CNA/MA/EMT preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and care team with patient care and observe patient condition.
• Obtain vital signs and assist with procedures.
• Maintain unit supplies and keep care areas clean.
• Handle clerical tasks and entry in computer systems.
