Job summary

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a local contract at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA.

You will provide rapid-response care for veterans, perform triage, administer meds, maintain documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during 12-hour night shifts.

Candidates must have RN license, BLS, ACLS, ACEN/CCNE accreditation, 3 years ED/ER experience, and no more than 6 months in ED gap.

Qualifications

• RN license from any U.S. state (required).
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (required).
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Minimum 3 years of recent ED/ER experience (required).
• No more than 6-month gap in ED/ER practice (required).

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute physical and psychological conditions.
• Perform emergency assessments, triage, stabilization, and monitoring.
