Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential, with safety and NEC compliance a daily focus. The role requires an ACTIVE SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (min 720 hours).
• Graduation from Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Experience with multi-system electronic security deployments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with project teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans and NEC standards.
