Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company dedicated to advancing health. The Electromechanical Technician will maintain and optimize production equipment, troubleshoot PLCs, and support continuous improvement initiatives across automation systems, robotics, and machine vision.

Night shifts with a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule are available in Columbus, NE. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's Degree in Electromechanical Technology, plus manufacturing experience and proficiency with

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with automated production equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Support process improvements involving mechanical & electrical systems and controls.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors and pneumatics.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability.
Diagnose and repair PLCs.
Maintain robotic systems and machine vision equipment.
Train operators on equipment operation and maintenance.
