Kohler Co. in Huntsville, AL is hiring an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician I - Nights to support our high‑volume production and distribution operations.

You will learn and assist with maintenance tasks, read simple drawings, and help maintain a safe, orderly work area during the 7pm–7am night shift. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous learning, with opportunities to obtain forklift certification and grow within Kohler’s manufacturing organization.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all operations to learn the skills of the trade.
• Help with obtaining proper materials and delivering parts to the shop for repair.
• Clean and condition parts for repair.
• Assist Mechanics in moving and assembling production equipment.
• Check out necessary tools and equipment from storeroom as directed.
• Keep tools clean and in order.
• Learn to read simplified dimensional drawings.
• Apply protective coatings to equipment and floors where needed.
• Maintain organized storage areas for materials and equipment.
• Follow Safety and Good Housekeeping programs.
