Job summary

V&V Supremo Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production and facility assets in a food manufacturing setting. You will triage work orders, document results, and manage inventory while coordinating with the Foreman/Lead.

Shifts run from 9PM–5AM or 1PM–9PM, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with GMPs and QA procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient mechanical experience and solid electrical experience.
• Food manufacturing background preferred.
• Machine operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production and facility assets.
• Triage and complete work orders quickly; capture results with checklists and reports.
• Monitor and manage tool/material inventory; escalate needs to the Foreman/Lead.
• Conduct routine visual rounds; communicate potential equipment issues and likely failure points.
• Execute PM tasks—cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and oiling—to sustain optimal performance.
• Collaborate with associates and management; follow procedures; prioritize workloads.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions on processing, filling, and support systems.
• Notify supervisors of material or product concerns; complete documentation.
• Keep tools and PPE; comply with SQF, OSHA, GMPs, QA procedures.
